Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 24 January, 2008: Canon today announces the launch of a new compact camera with powerful new features that say bye-bye to blur and offer enhanced point-and-shoot capability. The cameras include brand-new blur-reducing Motion Detection Technology, plus new technology evolutions. Canon’s Face Detection Technology now features Face Detection White Balance, and Red-Eye Correction, can now remove red-eye automatically as the user shoots. Each camera also has a Face Select & Track function. The Digital IXUS 80 IS and PowerShot A590 IS include Canon’s leading lens-shift optical Image Stabilizer lens for additional blur reduction and low-light shooting capability.

A superb camera at a great price. Perfect for taking quick snaps. Took it with me last year on holiday and got 2GB worth of fantastic hi-res, clear pictures.

tengo la camara canon A470, es muy buena. Sin embargo cuando la compre grababa en alta resolución (los megapixeles eran mayores), ahora no se que movió mi primo que los megapixeles se han reducido (sólo sale una pantalla pequeña) y esto se refleja en la panatalla de mi PC, antes salía con muy buena resolución ahora se ve pixeleado cuando la quiero agrandar.

Alguien sabe que debo hacer…?
