The Canon PowerShot A2600 is a simple compact camera that combines a 16.0-Megapixels CCD sensor and the DIGIC 4 Image processor to take high quality, color-accurate photos and 720p HD video. It is equipped with a 5x optical zoom lens that runs the gamut from wide angle to telephoto. Its 35mm focal length equivalency is 28-140mm and its maximum aperture at the wide-angle end is f/2.8. ISO sensitivity reaches 6400 and digital image stabilization allows you to create crisp images even in low light situations.

The camera also has a 3.0″ TFT color LCD monitor with 230,000 pixel resolution delivers composition and playback and ECO mode controls the display’s brightness in order to conserve battery power. There is also Smart AUTO function based on 32 predefined shooting situations for capturing spectacular images with ease. While Digital Image Stabilization reduces the effect of camera shake and subject movement.

Additionally, the camera is equipped with Scene Modes which offer image control and add an artistic look to your photos.
