Canon PIXMA MP560 Reviews

Reghardware reviews the Canon PIXMA MP560 and writes;
“Copy quality, using the machine’s 2,400 by 4,800ppi CIS scanner, shows surprising fidelity, for what is essentially a budget scan head, and there was only slight lightening of the colours in our test copy, compared with the original. It’s also a relatively fast scan, producing a single-page photocopy in 35 seconds.”
rating: N/A

Tracyandmatt reviews the Canon PIXMA MP560 and writes;
“The Canon PIXMA MP560 is a very capable all-on-one printer. It delivers great quality mono text documents on plain paper as well as excellent full colour photos on glossy paper. Print speed may not be great but acceptable for home use.”
rating: N/A

Etechreviews reviews the Canon PIXMA MP560 and writes;
“We printed some pages through Canon Pixma MP560 and other printers of the same price range. The Pixma MP560 delivered mediocre print quality overall. The presentation printing speed was 2.93 pages per minute (PPM); the photo printing speed was 1.45PPM; the colors graphics printing speed was 2.2PPM; and text printing speed was 6.74PPM. The printing speed was better than HP OfficeJet J6480 and Kodak ESP5 printers.”
rating: N/A

PCmag reviews the Canon PIXMA MP560 and writes;
“The photo quality overall is at least as good as you’d expect from drugstore prints, and arguably better. The photos were also reasonably water and scratch resistant in my tests, and they promise to be long lived, with a claimed lifetime of 300 years in dark storage, as in an album, and 30 years framed behind glass.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

Trustedreviews reviews the Canon PIXMA MP560 and writes;
“The print quality is up with what we’d expect from Canon and is good on both plain and photo papers. Black text is quite heavy on the page, but still manages a clean impression, so remains easy to read. Colours are also well reproduced and although there’s some obvious dither patterning in lighter shades, such as yellows, overall the result is clean and bright. “

Great Multifunctional Printer! | Rating: ★★★★★
“The only negative I have is that it’s a slightly slower to warm up and print than my old printer but it’s worked flawlessly and the quality is so good, I can’t really complain! The scanner is definitely much quicker and simpler than my old printer! The scan quality is better too! Fantastic printer!! I’m so happy with this purchase!” – by Victoria G. Fritz

worth its weight in gold when you need reliablitliy, | Rating: ★★★★★
“I am very happy with this purchase. This is a great printer for the price. Under a hundred bucks and you have a printer/scanner/copier all in one. The wifi feature is really nice and works flawlessly. It took me a few minutes to set up but I have not had to fiddle with it since. Another great feature is the paper tray automatically opens when the printer receives a print job. “ – by College Professor

Great all in one printer, | Rating: ★★★★★
“So far so good. Was reallly easy to set up and learn to use. Makes good copies. Haven’t scanned anything yet so don’t know about that. A little noisy ( I don’t care ). And takes awhile to “think” before it prints but all in all I am happy with it. Looks good too. Much sleeker than my old clunker.” – by reddog mom

Very Good Printer – MAC OS Compatible, | Rating: ★★★★★
“The MP560 has already proven to be a very good printer. Fine quality output, print and photos. The built in scanning bed saves space (was able to also gift an older stand-alone scanner). The copy feature of not having to have the iMac turned on… is great…” – by J. W. Zimmerman

Nice printer for the price, | Rating: ★★★★★
“It was really easy to set up and prints beautifully. I make all my own greeting cards and it does a really nice job. I only use Canon ink cartridges because I found out by using generic ones it didn’t produce the results I wanted. The ink lasts longer too. This is a great little printer for home use and I recommend it. “ – by C. Reep

Completely satisfied, | Rating: ★★★★★
“I am a home user and have to say that I am satisfied with this device’s print quality for both black and white and color, as well as the quality of the scanning. This device replaced a fairly inexpensive HP printer and scanner (sorry, can’t remember the model numbers)..” – by Patrick S. Dorazio

Pleasantly Surprised, | Rating: ★★★★★
“My HP 3 in 1 started randomly printing or not so I was shopping for an inexpensive replacement. I found this Canon for $85. It was wireless and could scan. Those were my “additional” requirements over just printing. The setup was simple. It took me 10 minutes from out of the box to printing wirelessly (sp?).” – by Darla

Great on ink and a paper saver! | Rating: ★★★★★
“The real benefit of this printer is the Duplex Printing. You can print on each side of the page without the hassle of doing it yourself by flipping the page around. Another nice feature is the 2-on-1 printing which allows you to print what would normally fit on two sheets of paper on one side of the page, saving even more paper. The printer also has templates so if you need graph paper, notebook paper, or even sheet music you can print them directly from the printer.” – by S. Welsh

All in one equals ALL or NONE..neither the printer or the scanner will work independently. major flaw. by design i’m sure. Code B200 stopped the entire unit dead in the water. So folks, buy your units seperately, lighter weight, smaller footprint and a lot more cost effective and reliable.
