Canon PIXMA MP270 Reviews
Digitalversus reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“The scanner is very fast, taking just seven seconds to produce a preview, followed by 3.5 seconds for a 75 dpi scan, and 15 s for an A4 photo at 300 dpi. It’s also pretty reasonable, and we only noticed a colour discrepancy of 7% (compared to 8% on the MP640). In practice, the colours are pretty accurate if a little cold (looking blue), and blacks are noticeably washed out.”
Dooyoo reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“With a maximum resolution of 4800dpi the printing is identical to the quality on the HP2180 but I was delighted to find that when printing out photos, all photos are grain free and have good colour detail compared to the greyness I’ve experienced with HP’s 2180 model. The options for the photo “shop” software onboard are simply amazing and I found the PictBridge software ingeniously easy to access with a very helpful drop down menu and further options to access help online.”
ITreviews reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“Although you may find yourself getting through the ink cartridges relatively quickly, both the quality of the prints and the speed of operation were impressive and, for the price, the PIXMA MP270 would be an excellent choice for a low-yield All-in-One.”
Goodgearguide reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“The Canon PIXMA MP270 can hold 100 sheets of paper in its rear tray, and it has a quoted page yield of 401 black and 349 colour prints from full cartridges. We found genuine Canon PG-510 and CL-511 ink cartridges for $19 and $24 respectively, making the on-going running cost of this printer roughly 21c per A4 page.”
Wallstreetstocks reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“we were generally pleased with the standard of the results: black text even in draft mode is legible and the ‘best’ version is even better, while colour prints kept the genuine hues of the originals with a bit of softening noticeable only in A4 copies. We did spot, nevertheless, that bigger copies tended to possess a yellow tinge….”
PCWorld reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“Photo printing is definitely inferior to a ‘proper’ high-end photo printer such as Canon’s own PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II, with visible vertical banding on printed A4 photos and poor fine detail reproduction. For 6x4in and A4 prints from your compact digital camera, it is well suited…”
PCAdvisor reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“Scanning with the Canon PIXMA MP270 was a surprise. We weren’t expecting much, so we were pleased with the resulting image quality when scanning photos and text. Scans exhibited a good amount of fine detail and colour accuracy was reasonable. The scanning process was startlingly loud though, with a harsh mechanical whine throughout the entire length of the scanning tray.”
Trustedreviews reviews the Canon PIXMA MP270 and writes;
“This is a pretty exceptional machine for £40. Although you have to put up with the slightly eccentric use of the single-character LED display – we recommend you print out a key to what all the characters imply – it achieves most of the functions you might want from a basic multifunction printer. Print quality is fair, speed is reasonable and running costs are no higher than the competition. For this kind of money, you could ask for little more.”

canon pixma mp270 inkjet printer, | Rating:
“The Canon Pixma MP270 Inkjet printer is one of the best in its class. The quality of prints are superb and the cost of both the package and the ink cartridges are exceptional. I use it daily for college assignments, work projects, pictures and photocopies. I was tempted to buy the lower version (MP250) locally, but after reading the reviews online at Amazon (for the MP250) I decided to place the order for this model and I haven’t had reason to regret this decision yet. It cost me a bit more, but in the end the purchase was well worth both the cost and wait. “ – by damien-tt
Good Printer, | Rating:
“First off, I’m a college student who uses this printer for school work, and few other things (resumes, coupons, few photos). This printer is a GREAT value; it prints awesome photos (and I highly recommend the Canon photo paper, a few sheets come included with the printer), it’s very RELIABLE, the scanner is good quality, and the ink is easy to find/buy.” – by Wendy
