Canon Pixma MP210 Reviews

PCWorld reviews the Canon Pixma MP210 and writes;
“The images sometimes looked faded and vague on plain paper, but using Canon’s own papers made everything crisper and brighter (albeit at a much higher cost). Scans proceeded quickly and looked good overall. The cost per page (at 5 percent coverage per color) is reasonable: about 5 cents for black-only, or 29 cents for a page with all three colors plus black.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

Trustedreviews reviews the Canon Pixma MP210 and writes;
“We’ve come to expect good print quality from Canon printers and the MP210, even though an entry-level device, doesn’t disappoint. Black text is sharp with no signs of ink spatter or spread. Graphic colours are also dense with little sign of stipple patterns and good registration of black text over colour. Copy quality is impressive with colours closer to the originals than we often see.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

CNET reviews the Canon Pixma MP210 and writes;
“The color graphics print was great, as well, with smooth color gradients, pleasing saturation, true color reproduction, and sharp details. The 4×6 photo print was sharp and detailed; the only issue we had was that the color could’ve been a bit warmer and we noticed some distracting graininess in color blocks. “

Canon Pixma MP210 User Reviews

Excellent printer for the price, | Rating: ★★★★★
“Very difficult to find a better printer for the price. Excellent printing and scan quality. Strong OCR software. Reasonably quiet. Not a very fast printer but comparable to others in its class. I wold not recommend this for a business due to its limited capabilities. For home use, you can’t beat it for the price.” – by S. Spencer

Perfect for my needs, | Rating: ★★★★★
“This printer works fine for my limited needs, and is an amazing value for the price. I do a great deal of printing, and 99% is printed on my HP 2420 Black and White Laser printer. I do have need for scanning and occasional color printing, however, and this Canon has worked great so far. I really couldn’t believe the price.I needed a long USB cable, and it cost more than 50% of what the Pixma cost. “ – by Paul E. Nord

nice printer | Rating: ★★★★★
“Really nice printer for the price. Does everything I need in a basic printer. $56.99 at Amazon, but it went down to $52 a couple of days after I bought it. Pros: Clean, crisp printing. Fast printing. Cost..” – by B. DeBoe

canon pixma mp210, | Rating: ★★★★☆
“Canon Pixma MP210 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer (2175B002) So far I have found this product to be very satisfactory, fine print quality, easy set up. It does seem to take longer than I am used to for it to “warm up” and to “shut down” though, not a real problem” – by Jeremiah R. Toomey

Simple and great quality, | Rating: ★★★★★
“I print my photos at Costco, not on an inkjet, due to less cost and much higher quality. But for printing things like maps, letters, and one-off things, it cannot be beat for the price. Scanning is also good, and I even used it to scan our passports and make a PDF with them, then put that on a thumb drive and sent a copy to a family member in case it gets lost.” – by R. Duxbury

Canon Pixma MP210, | Rating: ★★★★★
“Bought this for my Mom since her lexmark all in one died on her. I just wanted something cheap, simple to use, and performed well. I was suprised that the quality was pretty good (especially for the price). AL lin all great deal if you are looking for a simple all in one that does a good job. I have had lexmark and epson as well and I am most impressed with the canon printers.” – by D. Ficken

It’s a Winner! | Rating: ★★★★★
“The price was right. The order came promptly. Set-up was easy. All printer functions work perfectly. Now we’ll see how long the cartridges supply ink before requiring replacement. This review was short and only thing left to say is that I highly recommend this product!” – by David Kovensky

Perfect for Professor’s home office OCR, pdfs, etc. | Rating: ★★★★★
“It sits nicely on my desk next to my keyboard and monitor. Nice to have printing, copying, and scanning so easily next to me. Paper feeder works, but paper supply sits a little crooked. Paper does not come flying out at you which is another plus over my old printer.” – by Lynet

Features & Specifications

Canon Pixma MP210 Features

Designed to print, copy, and scan quickly and easily, the Canon Pixma MP210 is an all-in-one unit that gives professional results in less time. With this compact and versatile machine you can create a beautiful 4-by-6-inch borderless print in approximately 46 seconds, and even print photos from a digital camera without a computer! The MP210 also produces copies that are truer to your originals, while its unique Z-Lid lifts approximately 1.5 inches vertically to deliver clear, complete scans–even of thick books or magazines. In addition, included software helps you enhance photos and create a range of albums, calendars, and stickers, and the MP210′s stylish design complements any workspace.

The MP210 uses precision ink nozzles to create high resolution photos up to 4800 x 1200 color dots per inch (dpi). At the same time, microscopic two-picoliter-sized color ink droplets produce sharp, finely detailed photos. Moreover, your photos can last up to 100 years when you use this system with Canon inks and photo papers. When it comes to scanning, the MP210 delivers up to 600 dpi with vibrant 48-bit color depth, so all your images will catch the eye. Short on time? The MP210 boasts black print speeds of up to 22 pages per minute (ppm) and up to 17 ppm for color, as well as 22 copies per minute (cpm) for black and 17 cpm for color. You can even copy or scan thick items, like heavy books or magazines, that do not lie flat on the platen.

The MP210 is incredibly user friendly and easy to operate. Just capture an image with a PictBridge-ready digital camera/DV camcorder, then connect and print. You can also rely on the dual-color gamut processing technology to automatically optimize quality based on the type of originals you are copying. Finally, the display’s numbers consist of up to seven large LED segments, for easier reading and operation.
