Canon PIXMA iP3600 Reviews

PCWorld reviews the Canon PIXMA iP3600 and writes;
“Manual correction offers a blemish removal tool so you can be more selective about what you edit out, and also provides colour, contrast, brightness, and sharpness adjustment. Print results showed good resolution (Canon claims a printing resolution of 9600dpi), brightness and shadow detail but I found colours to be a little inaccurate, with greens in particular being washed out.”

Gadgetspeak reviews the Canon PIXMA iP3600 and writes;
“The quality for images is everything and here it was good. One niggle the exit tray does not open automatically and nothing will happen (apart from a message on the PC screen) until you open it on other units it opens automatically.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

PCAdvisor reviews the Canon PIXMA iP3600 and writes;
“With colour prints, the Canon Pixma iP3600’s performance is excellent. It’s slightly slower than the Pixma iP4600, but the end result is the same – high-quality, colour-accurate photo prints with a complete absence of banding, streaks or other print artefacts. Output using the default setting can look a little washed out, but that’s easily tweaked without taking a considerable hit in printing times. Our best quality print took 4 minutes 2 seconds.”

Techworld reviews the Canon PIXMA iP3600 and writes;
“Mono output is fast, even at the Canon Pixma iP3600’s default setting, taking just 14 seconds to drop into the output tray from when we first clicked Print. It’ll obviously churn output out faster than that in draft mode, but the default option delivers the best mixture of quality and quantity.”

Trustedreviews reviews the Canon PIXMA iP3600 and writes;
“The quality of prints is very good for a sub-£60 printer, though black text does show a few signs of ink spikes, where the ink has flowed along the paper fibres. Colour graphics are generally clean and bright and text over colour shows little sign of any bleed. Photo prints are excellent, with real-world natural colours, smooth gradations and plenty of detail in dark as well is light areas of each image. “
Rating: ★★★★☆ reviews the Canon PIXMA iP3600 and writes;
“In terms of printing, there’s absolutely nothing to complain about, except perhaps warm-up time, which seems to run about 45 seconds or so. But once it’s warmed up, there’s no problem with speed. PDFs came out in an average of 20 seconds per page; color graphics, from a PowerPoint presentation, took slightly more per page. And a 4×6 color photo came out in 1:19. For a small and cheap printer, these are all perfectly acceptable times.”

Expertreviews reviews the Canon PIXMA iP3600 and writes;
“We were also impressed by the iP3600’s photo printing capabilities.. Skin tones looked natural, dark colours and low-contrast areas were well-defined and bright colours looked vibrant and exciting. The clarity and detail of our photos was among the best we’ve seen from a budget inkjet, without any jagged dithering, graininess or fuzzy edges.”

God’s gift to my iMac (and wallet), | Rating: ★★★★★
“I purchased this printer to accomodate all of our printing needs for the family. Regular reports and text print perfectly, but the picture quality is where this printer is worth every penny. I needed a printer that could print photo quality pictures for my projects at home. They come out looking as good as (or sometimes better than) pictures I have picked up from a lab.” – by C. Morgan

God’s gift to my iMac (and wallet), | Rating: ★★★★★
“I love the separated color cartridges! No more need to swap out a whole cartridge just because I ran our of red. Looks nice. (in my opinion) So I sit in no mood to try and stash the ugly thing out of sight. Oh yea, the prints. FANTASTIC color reproduction and resolution after calibration (see the BAD) I’m in no time sensitive printing contest so I’m quite happy with the printing speed. Set up on OS X Leopard was a breeze. “ – by Chris Gonzalez

Canon Pixma IP3600 Photo Printer, | Rating: ★★★★★
“The colors are sharp. Being this is my first photo printer, I’m not so certain how fast it should print, but it’s not as fast as my old Canon 2110 inkjet that I’ve replaced with this one after NINE (9) years!..” – by Kathleen J. Ferris

Great printer, | Rating: ★★★★★
“The photos it prints are just as good as the professional ones made at a store. Colors very vibrant and the printing program on the CD makes it very easy to make photos just the way you want… I know it must be a good printer cause my daughter has thanked me several times for getting this printer for her. Can’t beat the high quality for such a low price. I highly recommend it.” – by M. Sparenberg

A true delight! | Rating: ★★★★★
“I really love this printer. This is by far the best inkjet printer I have ever owned, and my favorite inkjet printer by far. It is the perfect combination of price and performance. The ink cartridges that come with it are all full size cartidges (and actually truly full)…” – by Josh G.

Excellent Purchase, | Rating: ★★★★★
“This is a very economical printer. It prints awesome pictures and is also great for everyday use. It’s nice that there are five individual ink cartridges so that you only have to replace the color that runs out. I love this printer!” – by Alissa P.

Good affordable photo printer, | Rating: ★★★★★
“The setup was easy and I am very happy with the photo quality. Print speed isn’t that great but I do not do too much printing for it to really matter. It is quieter than my old HP. I like the individual ink cartridges and dual paper trays… one for printer paper the other for photo paper.” – by Reddogg

Great buy for the money, | Rating: ★★★★★
“This printer is good. A little noisy though and takes a while to get ready to print. You have to reload the printer before it is completely out of paper and someitmes the sensor thinks there is none there when there really is. “ – by S. Beaudoin

Photos of great quality, | Rating: ★★★★☆
“The I P 3600 printer prints photos that are far superior to any lab that I have ever used. I printed my Christmas cards on it totaling somewhere around seventy five. I used Glossy photo paper which included a photo of my home all dressed in holiday lights as well as a personal Holiday greeting. They looked very professional and the ink tanks held up just fine throuh out the whole process..” – by A. Smith

Not bad…reliable, | Rating: ★★★★☆
“I was pleasently surprised. Prints well , nice colors. I do use it to print my photographs. Like most reviewers agree can be a bit noisey, especially at start up.I leave mine always on, also out of fear the ink heads may clog. Not taking any chances. Worth the money, a quality printer so far.” – by D. Paris

Good printer and price is right, | Rating: ★★★★☆
“The price was very good for the quality you get. Of course Canon and other printer companies can sell printers of this quality at a low price point because they more that make up for the deal on the printer when you have to buy replacement ink tanks. The materials that go into the production of this printer are not the quality that was in my previous Canon printers BUT the printing quality is improved.” – by H. Ball
