Canon EOS 100D / Rebel SL1 is a 18.0 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 3.0-inch Touchscreen and Full HD Movie Mode. It features DIGIC 5 Image Processor, Clear View II Touchscreen LCD, ISO 100-12800, Expandable to 25600, Full HD 1080 Video with Continuous AF, 4.0 fps Continuous Shooting, 9-Point AF System, and Scene Intelligent Auto Mode. The camera is designed in Compact and Lightweight body that Compatible with Canon EF and EF-S Lenses. It measures (W x H x D) 4.6 x 3.6 x 2.7″ / 11.7 x 9.1 x 6.9 cm and weight 13.05 oz / 370 g body only, without battery or card. The measure makes it as the smallest and lightest digital SLR camera in the world.

“This sensor is functionally identical to those in the T2i/T3i/T4i/T5i/60D/7D save for the pixels devoted to phase-detect. Noise and dynamic range are the same in raw. Expect acceptable results up to ISO 3200. Nikon’s D5100 is slightly better, Sony’s A65 slightly worse. It’s about two solid stops better than a typical point-and-shoot.” – By D. Alexander

Fantastic DSLR in the palm of your hand
“Thanks to Canon I have the SL1 and so far am extremely pleased with the size, functionality and the pictures are excellent. I am using the 40mm F2.8 pancake STM lens and carry a Tamron 18-270 separately. IMHO a great camera for travelers who want a DSLR!” – By MCf

The perfect camera?
“Image comparison. The images coming out of this Canon SL1 are lovely. I compared directly with my full frame Nikon D600 and Fujifilm XE-1 indoors on a colorful bookcase, ISO 1600 in room light and ISO 200 with flash. Results; unless you are a fanatical pixel peeper, they are all quite comparable. Perhaps the SL1 had slightly more shadow noise at 1600 but was better on greens, etc.” – By Doctor.Generosity

As the World’s smallest and lightest digital SLR camera, the Canon EOS 100D / Rebel SL1 combines an 18MP CMOS sensor and the DIGIC 5 image processor to capture images with sharp details, accurate colors and low-noise imaging in compact form factor with easy to use interface. The camera uses 9-point autofocus system which offers fast focusing when shooting with the viewfinder and Hybrid CMOS AF II to increase autofocus speed and accuracy when shooting in Live View. Not only does it, it enables you continuously shoot up to 4 fps, and with wide ISO range of 100-12800 (expandable to 25600) makes the camera is ideal for shooting in bright and low light conditions.
This camera allows you to record Full HD 1080p at 30 fps and 24 fps with Movie Servo for continuous autofocus during shooting. You can also use Manual exposure in video mode and record video with speed up to 60 fps when shooting at 720p HD. Recording videos also supported by built-in mono microphone with manual audio level adjustment and Video Snapshot with editing for expanded movie shooting options.
Moreover, Canon EOS 100D / Rebel SL1 is equipped with 3.0-inch Clear View II Vari-angle Touchscreen LCD which offers 1,040k-dot resolution for easy compose and playback viewing of your photos and videos. The LCD monitor also offer smudge-resistant coating features multi-touch operation with direct access to functions for setting changes and Touch AF for an easy. It provides an intuitive experience and clear viewing when outdoors; an Optical Viewfinder with approx. 0.87x magnification makes subjects easier to see.
