I used this lens occasionally and it is true the perspective at 10mm is stunning and a must for landscape photography !
I now own a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 which is in the same price range but which I find much sharper and usable in low light situations thanks to the constant 2.8 aperture … Oh, and it comes with a hood
It’s true that the zoom range isn’t that of the Canon but it complements my 17-55 just fine and the 1mm difference at the short end isn’t that big of a deal …

EF-S lenses cannot be used on Full Frame bodies like the 5D. Only EF lenses can.

I’ve owned this lens for about two years and it’s excellent. My primary use is interior home photography on my Canon XT and it excells. This lens rarely leaves my camera body and it’s worth every penny spent on it. No regrets whatsoever.
