Focusing screen falls loose on EOS 5D Mark II!

I have owned: EOS 30D, 40D, 50D, EOS 5, EOS 1D Mark III. I am a semi-professional photografer and I have published 8 books with more than 2000 pictures taken with these cameras. I am not a new beginner.
-
I worked with the camera with no problem a couple of months ago, stored it about two weeks without taking the lens off, when I took it out again I could not use the camera. When I took the lens off both the focusing screen and the superimpose plate fell out of the camera house.

This has happened on numerous occasions for several users even on brand new cameras, see: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/canon-eos-5d-mk-ii-hd/484053-focusing-screen-fell-out.html
-
Canon Sweden does not acknowledge this problem and do not accept that this is a construction fault or a guarantee matter. I had to pay fully for the "repair", even though they "found nothing wrong with the camera house".
This is obviously a bad construction!
I do not recommend this camera house!
Very unprofessional behaviour of Canon Corp!

I have an eos 5d mk 1 and have decided to wait for a 5d mk3 before I upgrade due to the dated 9 point focus layout of the 5d mk11. To get my tech fix, I have bought the eos 7d as my second camera which should keep me going in the meantime.

There has been very little commentary about the audio quality of the Canon 5D Mark II.
Has anyone used this camera in Video mode and been really happy with the audio? Is the audio always in Auto Mode or can you set it manually as well.
What about using a high gain microphone into the mic input?
Thanks for the comments in advance.

i liked this video a lot speccialy in the part when he compares each machine the faster one... well its amazing, i wish in the store where i have been buy mine, they would have done that. i had been with nikon one week and nikon have such great smoth image..D90 is just great. at the end i went to buy 5D mark 2 im about one month with this machine and i feel that cannon irritates me that super high colour it makes things more perfect than they are in reality.that doesn't make it even more preety. i had just some few opinions from people telling me cannon its better than nikon well so then i went to cannon. and here i am with 5D mark 2 i still wanted someone else to explain me the diferences between nikon and cannon about image and not if one is faster than the other but image. thank you.

It has a microphone that records audio along with the video.
I have another question: It can produce video in Quicktime .MOV/H.264 format only. I have Adove Premiere Elements 8 for editing the clips but it cannot read the .MOV files from the Canon, complaints about needing a codec. Where can I get the codec? Anyone?
Thanks

I have a question. Digital Photo Buyers Guide states this camera does not have audio capability. Does that mean it does video without the audio? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

I think the Canon 5D2 is too slow for action photos.
ill go for the nikon d700 or even the canon 7d instead.
