Brother MFC-790CW Reviews
PCAdvisor reviews the Brother MFC-790CW and writes;
“Brother’s MFC-790CW is a solid multifunction device for the home office. The versatility of having faxing, wireless printing, scanning, copying, and a built-in answering machine makes the machine highly desirable for home businesses, especially those working on a budget.”
Techworld reviews the Brother MFC-790CW and writes;
“The scans were also judged to be of Very Good quality, with exceptional clarity. Unfortunately, the Brother MFC-790CW struggled when it came to the quality of its copies; our judges awarded the prints a Good rating, noting visible horizontal lines in the copy and a dark image that detracted from the overall picture.”
About.com reviews the Brother MFC-790CW and writes;
“The Brother MFC-790CW is a compact multifunction printer. It uses four ink tanks with Brother’s proprietary Innobella ink, which provides vivid colors and long-lasting prints. In my tests, a 4×6 photo took only about two minutes to print and came out dry, vivid, and very sharp.”
MacWorld reviews the Brother MFC-790CW and writes;
“The color printing speed and quality was more impressive. It took the MFC-790CW 1 minute and 42 seconds to produce our four-page PDF document, and a little over 50 seconds to finish our 22MB Photoshop photo. The prints were of Very Good quality, with only minor details lost in the shadows.”

Looks good, nice price, everything works, | Rating:
“Just received the item and it appears to do what’s promised, though I haven’t done any photo printing yet, I think the photo print quality will be just fine, being that they included some small photo paper in the box. In my opinion, wi-fi is the only way to go for printers. USB is just another cable.” – by michaelbuddy
I love this product!, | Rating:
“This unit features a great touch screen, easy to use fax machine, scanner (which lets you choose one of many places that the scanned image can be sent to). The other great feature that sold us on this printer was the fact that it features a built-in wireless care for printer sharing.” – by Kee
Brother – Overlooked All-in-One, | Rating:
“So after using it for a week, i’m really happy with the purchase. The wifi software was very easy to setup, and I had no problem installing it in Windows beta 7 unlike the Epson Artisan 800. Receiving and sending faxes is easy as pie. Normal and glossy photo print qualities are very good. And the unit overall looks solidly built.” – by Bobby Bobs
Great Upgrade, | Rating:
“I purchased the Brother MFC-790CW approximately 2 weeks ago as a replacement for a Dell Printer.The setup was easy and it was possible to add it to my wireless network in less than 15 minutes. The printer is quiet and it prints relatively fast with nice colors. I have also sent and received several faxes with no problem.” – by Johnny J. Ray
My Second Brother All in One, | Rating:
“Good looking All in One unit. Hard to set up. I still cannot figure out the wireless part and gave up, pass the cable please. Print quality is good. Print speed is painfully slow! Scan is decent. Easy to use touch screen is a nice addition. Ink cost is decent. Complicated interface but a good looking addition to any home office.” – by Edward Cheek
Great Machine for the price., | Rating:
“Easy to use, I’ve had no problem with the wireless connection for my laptop. Picture printing was great. (Not even set at higher quality). I am no expert on multi-printers. If you need a machine that will print twenty copies, of a fifty page report real fast. Then no, you need to spend a lot more money! But for a small business, or personal use. It’s a great machine.” – by Jeffry A. Felton
Great…until it broke…then great again, | Rating:
“Overall I have to say that I was very happy with my printer until it broke, and now that Brother is taking care of it I am still very happy with my purchase. I will certainly be looking at Brother products in the future because there attitude/cust service has been miles better than Epsons!” – by PowerUserAZ
Great All-In-One,… | Rating:
“I run a small business and this machine is GREAT. EASY SET UP ,quiet, wireless is great. very user friendly. all around fantastic “ – by Carrie Poole
Great All-In-One,… | Rating:
“I’ve used every feature thus far except the answering machine (already had one at the house), and it has performed all duties flawlessly. The DPI isn’t stellar for picture printing, but I didn’t buy an $100 printer to print “Gorgeous Pictures”, I bought a $100 all-in-one to take up less desk space and do a competent job of printing, faxing, scanning, and copying documents and pictures, with the added bonus of being able to even remove the phone from my desk since there’s one built into this unit.” – by MadJoe
Great value for small business just getting started!, | Rating:
“We were looking for something with a great value for our new business that wouldn’t break our budget but have the versatility to be able to print wirelessly from one part of the office to the other. This unit had all the features at the right price. It was here very quickly and replaced the old printer that didn’t have all of the capabilities that this had. We are very pleased with the Brother MFC-790CW. “ – by gmiljour
