Brother MFC-465CN Reviews

Expertreviews reviews the Brother MFC-465CN and writes;
“Text documents looked good, although the edges of bold characters were faintly smudged. The black text in our mixed-colour prints was sharp and the colours were accurate, but solid areas of colour were speckled and inconsistent.”

Brother MFC-465CN User Reviews

My Second Brother
“This All in One is my second from Brother. It has a great photo printing setup and download. It prints only Ok if you want something printed in less than 5 minutes. At first it would hardly print at all, and I had to go to the Brother website to make it play nice with Vista. Now it’s fine as far as that’s concerned. My biggest gripe is that it either drinks ink when I’m not looking, or the cartridges don’t hold much. I’m on my 3rd set of cartridges and I’ve had it for 4 months. If this continues, I’ll have to stop using it because the ink cost will be prohibitive! “ – by Nina

Great mfc
“I’m very happy with this printer. It’s quite, fast, and prints high quality. Network setup was done by installation software, so it was no problem to get started printing. My daughter started printing out pictures from her phone (about 25-30 4×6 photos) and we still have ink left so it will be cheaper than any other inkjet I’ve used. Haven’t used the fax, but it does a good job as a copier, color or black and white. “ – by David Nutt

Great MFC for the price
“The color lcd, card readers and pict-bridge slot make it easy to print directly from your camera or flash media, as is the 4″x6″ photo print feeder for printing postcard size pictures. Print quality is excellent. Scanning multiple pages to a PDF document is a cinch. Speed of scanning, printing and copying is reasonably fast, though not as fast as the higher end-MFCs. But with the low price, who cares!” – by nagappa

Very pleased, great color, quiet
“I’m very pleased with the quality of this new MFC – I like the clarity of the options, making it very easy to fax, even if you’ve never owned a fax machine before. I have mine hooked up to an EAD (answering machine) and the fax will pick up if it hears a fax on the other line when the answering machine picks up. I haven’t used the scanner yet – but I’m sure it works as well, if not better, then the old one. Overall – this is an excellent MFC for the price, doesn’t take up a lot of room, ink is very easy to change, and if you want to buy off brand ink – it is easy enough to find. I would definately buy another Brother in the future. “ – by Deb

solution for half empty cartriges
“I had problem with color cartridges being sensed empty while were still half full and find easy solution. Cartridges have clear window on front side where you can see trough. When you shake you can see remaining ink. I used liquid paper (white out) to paint the window. After minute you can insert it back and sensor will sense full cartridge so you can use your ink till last drop.” – by S. CELIK

very good printer with low price
“The price is low compared to other manufacturers and the quality of print is fantastic. Most of all, I like the four separate ink cartridges so I can easily check which one needs to be replaced soon. Also the price of ink cartridge is not expensive. One drawback is it is a little bit noisy. “ – by Jay

This rocks for the price
“All the functions and resolution quality advertised work fine. The remote setup functions are straight-forward. Sticking a a USB flash drive (AWESOME!) or memory card straight in the machine and printing from the LCD screen is straight-forward and a real time saver for a quick print. 4×6 borderless printing works without a hitch. As with any inkjet, you must give them time to dry. Printing speed is good for the price. If you need something faster then pay more for the speed. The basic functions of scanning/copying with enlargements/reductions etc work fine for me. “ – by JennyPoo

Best printer I’ve ever owned
“Software worked the VERY FIRST TIME on both the PCs and the Mac; Network connectivity is not only solid, it has never disconnected. Ever; Copy function is great. I’ve copied documents you couldn’t tell from the original; I’m just now buying replacement ink for the first time. Literally. That’s how I happen to be writing this review – I came here to buy the ink. “ – by R. Huffman
