Benro MA-98EX Features & Specifications

The Benro MA-98EX Monopod is their largest professional aluminum model, officially supporting gear of up to 55 lb (25kg) and recommended for any SLR camera with any telephoto lens such as a 600mm f/4 or 400mm f/2.8. It has a foam-padded grip with a built-in wrist strap, and enough height to get above the average eye level of most shooters.

The MA-98EX’s flip-lever leg locks are of the newest technology, and provide reliable and fast use with just a small motion necessary. Benro also has developed an aluminum tubing which is quite thin yet still strong, and this shaves about 30% off of the weight of a comparable older-technology model. The camera screw is reversible for both 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 applications.

Features:
Quick Lock Legs with Anti-Rotation Leg System

Monpod height can easily be set by a flip of the quick lock leg levers, which combined with anti-rotation legs enable fast and fumble-free set-up

Closed-Cell Foam Hand Grip
A thick layer of closed-cell nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) provides a comfortable yet firm grip when carrying your Benro monopod
