Nice field tripod
“I use it in the field, often on very uneven terrain. I like that it’s light and compact, and also that it’s very versatile: it’s tall enough to go eye-level for me (I’m 5’7”), goes low enough for ground shots, and has that quick-switch center-post. “ – By User

Great value for the money
“I was weighing between the Manfrotto 055CX Pro4, the Gitzo 2541EX or this one, and this one was closer to the price of the Manfotto with the specs of the Gitzo. So far so good. ROCK Steady while taking photographs of 4th of July with an Acratech head and a 30D with Grip and 70-200 f/2.8 IS on. I’m 5’10” and didn’t need to use the vertical column, which is great news. Also looking forward to playing around with the flexible column head on macro and ground-level stuff. I am very happy with my purchase thus far, and will update when I further test.” – By JZ
