<description>I have ACDSee 3.1 sr-1. It came with a HP scanner set up disk. I don't know where it stands in the hiearchy of ACDSee progams or how out of date it is.

1. Are there updates for this program and how do I get them?

2. Do I need it? I have been using a digital camera to download pictures for the last two years. Prior to that I have about ten years of prints I would like to scan in. Prior to that I have 4000 slides I am scanning in.

3. All I want is to get the pictures in the computer and modify for brightness and sharpness.

Your comments will be appreciated.
