Accolades and Honors for Two Gallery Photographers, Maria Passarotti and Jay Hochheiser

MARIA PASSAROTTI

The competitive photo annual American Photography (http://www.ai-ap.com/) has chosen two images by Maria Passarotti to include in their 2007 edition. The photographs, Row Houses and Canopy, were among 331 photographs selected from 8,000 submissions. They were commissioned in 2006 by Susan Eley Fine Art for an exhibition to benefit the West 90th Street Park Block Association.

JAY HOCHHEISER

Jay Hochheiser is currently featured across four pages in the May issue of Focus magazine. His work is currently on view in “Europe Redrawn,” curated by Eley for Café Joul, 1070 First Avenue at 58th Street, through July. Among the 20 photographs on view is Puget Sound, recently awarded 1st Place and Best in Show at the 50th Annual Middletown Township Art Show in NJ.
