The three new camera are the DSC-TX200V model from the ultra-thin Cyber-shot T series and the DSC-WX70 and DSC-WX50 models from the stylish. Each camera offers a high-resolution “Exmor R” CMOS sensor and an improved BIONZ image processor together enhance low light performance and give fast auto-focus. Tokina has launched a new lens to replace their hightly regarded AT-X 11-16 f/2.8 for APS-C sensors, the new lens is the AT-X Pro 11-16mm f/2.8 (IF) Aspherical DX II. The lens offers a newly developed Silent Drive Motor for quiet auto focus and a GMR magnetic AF sensor to achieve high speed focusing. The lens construction consists of 13 images in 11 groups with minimum focusing distance of 0.3m and filter size at 77mm. It sold in Japan with retail price of ¥ 90,000 (tax not included with hood). The lens will be released for Nikon digital (APS-C) in late March 2012 while for the Canon digital (APS-C) will be released in late July 2012.
