Adobe Announces Photoshop Lightroom 3 Beta 2

Adobe has announced the availability of Photoshop Lightroom 3 public beta. New features in Lightroom 3 Beta 2 are including Improved performance throughout the application for faster importing and loading of images, Native tethered shooting support for select Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras, Luminance noise reduction has been added to the previous color noise reduction improvements available in the first public beta for outstanding overall high ISO quality and it also supports for importing and managing video files from DSLR cameras for better overall photographic workflow control.

GigaPan Introduces EPIC Pro

GigaPan has recently introduced EPIC Pro, a revolutionary robotic camera mount designed for DSLR cameras. The EPIC Pro will take hundreds, even thousand of detailed individual photos for one intricate gigapan. With the new, faster GigaPan Stitch software (included) these photos are blended seamlessly into one brilliant panorama, then uploaded to, where users can zoom into the detail, explore and share.

Lensbaby Pinhole Photo Contest

Lensbaby has announced the Pinhole Photo Contest which runs from 19th of March to 9th of April 2010. You can submit your best pinhole images, whether created using a Lensbaby Pinhole/Zone plate Optic or any other type of Pinhole camera.


3 Winners will win a prize bundle that includes a Lensbaby gift certificate for $150, a Gorillapod tripod and ball head combo, and a $50 gift certificate from Red River Paper. Popular voting will be used to help decide one of the winners. Acclaimed pinhole photographers Tom Persinger and Craig Barber will pick two additional winning images.
