The Sony CyberShot DSC-W35 is a 7.2 effective million pixels point-and-shoot digital camera featuring 3x optical zoom (35mm equivalent: 38 – 114 mm), optical viewfinder, and a 2″ LCD scren. The camera is measuring in at 90x59x23mm, weighing 149g and it’s running on Li-Ion which enable you to get 380 shots on a full charge. The Sony CyberShot DSC-W35 should be hitting stores February 2007 for an estimated retail price of $180.

Do you want to make your models fly without any wires or super powers?.. Here’s a very nice trick to do that easily;
“Set your camera at a high shutter speed so that the model isn’t blurry and you’re ready. The trick is to have the model jump up but keep their legs perfectly straight and their feet parallel to the ground. It will appear as though the model is suspended in the air and is somehow floating.”

Business2.0 Magazine has published an article on how the giants of the stock photo business (ie. Getty Images and Corbis) are being challenged by the “microstock” agencies.
“Unless they adjust to the new reality, however, the giants could find themselves in trouble. Getty (Charts) has been profitable since it was founded–last year it took in more than $800 million in revenue–but magazine advertising is in decline, as is the demand for its kind of high-end photos. During the past year, Getty’s stock price has taken a dive, dropping from $90 a share at the start of 2006 to just over $50.”
