HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart C309n Reviews

Digitaltrends reviews the HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart C309n and writes;
“The Photosmart Premium’s photographic prints look pretty good, too – at least until you compare them with those produced by the Epson. The latter printer produced prints that were a very close match to what we saw on the screen; the former infused skin tones with an unpleasant bluish pallor. The printer has a two-tiered paper tray that accommodates either 4×6 or 5×7 photo paper on top and any type of paper (up to 8.5×11) on the bottom. Unless you enjoy performing the paper-change polka, you’ll really appreciate this feature.”

Computershopper reviews the HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart C309n and writes;
“Though text printing was slightly uneven, photo image quality is this model’s forte. Colors are both accurate and pleasing, edges are sharp, and details are clear and crisp. While some bright areas are slightly blown out, there is very good depth and detail in the shadows. Color photocopies are somewhat duller and less sharp than the originals, but to put this in perspective, we rate the overall quality of the TouchSmart’s photocopies higher than most made by an AIO printer.”

CNET reviews the HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart C309n and writes;
“The TouchSmart Web’s print quality is pleasing overall. Black text appears sharp and richly formed, which is to be expected of a $400 printer. Color photo prints are decent as well–not the best we’ve seen but the colors look pretty good; they aren’t a bit on the dull side, with very subtle graininess in the color blocks. Regardless, we’re well satisfied with the intricate details and the way the color popped in our graphics test. Fine lines in our photo snapshots are slightly more defined than with the Officejet 8500 Pro, but that’s certainly not enough to justify spending the extra $120 by itself; anyone other than hardcore photo hobbyist will have difficulty recognizing the differences.”

PCMag reviews the HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart C309n and writes;
“Photos easily qualified as true photo quality. The colors were a little punchy in some photos, but many people prefer that to more realistic color. The only real issue I saw was a slight tint in a black and white photo, but not enough to make the printer unusable for black and white for most people. Overall, I’d rate the photo quality as a bit better than I’d expect from a typical drugstore.”
